Pherson here has the ability to talk to animals, which means he can:
- hear their voices in his head
- tell them things and they can tell him things
- be very persuasive
And this counts for anything that could be considered an animal: bugs, birds, reptiles, mammals, fish. (You can check his character info for more details)
1) If your character keeps some sort of animal or pet, I would really appreciate you letting me know if he can talk to them! Anything like the divulgence of secrets or asking them to do things I will be sure to hit you up and plot with you first.
2) If your character is some kind of animal or part animal, can transform into an animal, I'd like to know that too! As far as imports are concerned, his powers are wonky and don't always work, so you can choose the degree of influence he has on your character all the way up to "none" - and of course, plotting with you is a thing I will do.
NOTE that the wonkyness with imports also applies to animals/companions your pc brings with them.
As a second note, his powers don't usually work on humans, so if you feel your character just has animal themed powers or is a bit furry, don't worry about it. The less actual animal, the less likely they'll be affected.
3) does your character have similar powers? ie, can talk to or control animals (even if it's just one type)? This ALSO makes his power wonky.
You can answer however you like but I have a handy-dandy thing for you:
I can also answer any questions or concerns, no problem. Thank you!

Does your character have animal-based powers (& how so)? Can speak with animals, a number of his spells specifically affect animals (Such as calm animals and hold animal), he also regularly takes on the form of an orange tomcat.
Does your character keep animal(s)? He doesn't keep any animals himself.
How comfortable are you with Pherson's powers working (ie, "not at all", "just talking", "mildly persuasive", "all the way, baby", "only with plotting")? When he's in his feline form I'd be fine with the just talking part, perhaps mistaking him for a normal stray? Wouldn't likely effect his full dragon form or human form though.
Anything else of note?
He's been talking to the animals around the city and around the park as a way of getting to know the place better. If there's anything you'd like to do with that?

And ooh, that sounds fun. Maybe hear about this guy talking to his animal friends? What sort of things do you think they'd gossip about them?

As to what the animals could gossip about, perhaps how they treat the animals they speak with/quirky things animals might pick up. For instance he would have spoken to some of the birds in his true form, so some could speak of a large scary lizard who was nice to them, the man who gave them food for questions or a particularly curious feline, though without linking them. Hardly limited to that though, just a few random ideas. Certainly open to ideas.

In turn, Pherson's probably known as that guy who dresses in the robes in Central Park who speaks in a voice so sweet and hard to resist.

Now that is something that Crucible would likely look into.
